Learning through Play

Our program is designed to nurture early learning through play, imagination and storytelling with the following key pillars and pedagogy:

Scaffolded Learning

Each session builds progressively, from simple, sensory-rich experiences and moves toward more complex ideas as children’s confidence and curiosity grow

Variety of Modalities

Learning unfolds across multiple modalities — sensory exploration, dramatic expression, cognitive discovery, and creative making

STEAM Foundations

Subtle STEM and arts foundations (STEAM) are woven into stories and activities, sparking early curiosity about how the world works

Cultural Storytelling

We invite children to experience tales from diverse traditions while building their own sense of identity and belonging

Caregiver-Bub Bonding

Sessions include moments of co-play, gentle movement, and shared reflection that strengthen attachment, communication, and trust.

Grow their creative confidence

Each creative activity prompt is an opportunity for your child to embrace a new challenge. Through hands-on learning, your child is more likely to remain engaged and to build upon their creative problem-solving skills.

Activities you can work on together

While our programs encourage your little ones to become better independent learners, we’ve also included special opportunities for you to work together.

  • This program is suitable for little ones aged 18 months to 3 years and meant to be experienced together with the grown-up journeying with them. This is a shared learning experience for caregivers to not only bond with, but tap into their inner curiosity and imagination.

  • Each session would have a maximum of 10 child-caregiver pairs with activities like welcome ritual, storytelling, drama play and so on.

  • Our sessions are designed for one child and one accompanying adult. All materials will be provided.

  • We integrate early STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning into every session, using story-themed exploration to nurture curiosity, problem-solving, and creative thinking from an early age.

Each class encourages active caregiver–child participation, helping parents learn simple ways to support curiosity, language, and focus while strengthening bonds through shared play.

The program also celebrates Melbourne’s multicultural spirit by weaving in global stories and cultural traditions that build empathy, awareness, and a sense of belonging in young learners.
